Data Scientist | Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing and deploying scalable ML and mathematical models.

Responsibilities:

• Work independently on tasks with minimal supervision.
• Research algorithm improvements for higher performance, accuracy, and optimality.
• Assess and understand data quality and prepare quality datasets for training ML models.
• Identify suitable ML algorithms, derive feature importance, and define accuracy metrics to build and validate models.
• Run tests, perform statistical analysis, and interpret test results.
• Regularly communicate with the design lead for project progress.
• Operations Research.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of ML techniques and algorithms.
• Experience with common data science toolkits and programming languages (C, Python, NumPy, Pandas, sci-kit-learn, MatPlotLib, TensorFlow, Keras).
• Knowledge and experience in implementing a variety of predictive models, ML algorithms, statistical, and optimization techniques (e.g. logistic regression, tree-based models, clustering, neural networks, principal component analysis, linear discriminant analysis, and time series forecasting).
